Not sure if this ever got answered, but my Dying Light was crashing reliably on startup along with a handful of other games (such as Cities: Skylines and Banished). Trying to run Dying Light only results in a black screen and the game frozen. I reinstalled the game various times and rebooted, as well as verified its file. All drivers are updated and my system is well-maintained, light, and snappy. I tried locking FPS to 60, made sure there aren't OSD in the way.
For me it start to crash after 45hours in gameplay : \ well i do not have the beastly PC out there but i run the game on low setting fine by now : \ an now it just crashes 5 mins after starting the game : \ if there is any away to fix that pls share cus i want to continue with the "The following"part
